WANDERING AROUND TIONG BAHRU
One of my favorite place in Singapore and one of the most happening part of the town is Tiong Bahru. Art deco boutique shops and residential occupies this hippest area in Singapore.
Being a life romantic, detailed colors and fonts of shop signs, materials of furniture they use always capture my eye when wandering through pretty cities..
I walked for hours marveling at the picturesque. Time flies by so melodiously and cars drives by in a laid back manner. Streets that had once been lined with ancient wooden houses accented with bamboos were now tasteful with concrete and paint and modernity.
I recommend you to plan a day here in this refined artistry area for at least half a day in your itinerary and be pampered with amazing shops, delicious yums and just feel the culture.. the vibe
and the artsy fartsy mood this place has to offer!
One of my favorite spots and BEST 3 places you should visit are ;
Although it`s very small and cozy, you will get lost in this bookstore filled with arty collections, classic and contemporary literature and great stationaries + gift ideas. I can stay there forever flipping pages of all kinds of books!
